Tom is a talented medical writer and manager. He is well used to liaising with clients, directing staff and providing leadership on large projects. During stressful periods he is able to promote an air of calm in those around him!
He originally trained as a pharmacist before gaining experience in the community and at a major teaching hospital. Following a period as a research student conducting major biochemical studies in the field of anticancer medication, he went on to work for a major international commications company both in New Zealand and the UK. During this time he occupied progressively senior roles, rising to Editorial Director. Along the way he obtained a teaching qualification, and worked for a period at Danang University, Vietnam as part of the Global Volunteer Network.
